Staff Accountant

 

We are a growing Bergen County CPA firm seeking a Staff Accountant with at least 2 years of CPA-firm experience with developing skills in accounting, auditing, workpaper and financial statement preparation for commercial real estate partnerships, construction companies, manufacturers, distributors, not for profit organizations and other closely held businesses. Growth opportunity.

Job Requirements:

• Assist with client audits, reviews and compilation
• Preparation of financial statements and disclosures
• Preparation of corporate, partnership, individual tax
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and best-in-class

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in
• 2+ years of recent public accounting and auditing experience a plus

Skills:

• Experience using Prosystem Engagement, PPC Smart Tools, ProSystem Fx Tax, QuickBooks, a plus.
• Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel skills
• Customer centric approach, strong interpersonal, analytical
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-starting team member with attention to
• Time management skills.
